About Club Email

The club uses groups.io to distribute email to club members. This email list is managed by David Sherrill and Tony Verhulst.

When a member joins the club, he/she is sent an email invitation to join the GBSC main email list

When you receive the email, click on accept the invitation then, when the groups.io page opens, click on + join this group. You  are now a GBSC email member.

At this point, you can join most subgroups by clicking on the subgroup(s) of interest, then clicking on join this group. That's it!

Some subgroups are restricted and permission is required to join. However, any club member can send mail to a restricted subgroup but only that subgroup members can read it. For example, a member would send an email to the tow pilots subgroup to ask if a tow pilot is available for a mid-week operation and only the tow pilots would be notified.

The new member is requested to initially join the Business and the Talk subgroups (see descriptions below).

Club email is completely self service
